His commitment to precision is what enables him to consistently deliver the results patients seek.
Dr. Naki is an active member of numerous dental organizations and has completed extensive continuing education to remain at the forefront of his field. While deeply passionate about dentistry, he also enjoys surfing, hunting, and fishing in his free time.

Emmy Scott, Office Manager
Emmy serves as the Office Manager at Naki Dental Studio. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she relocated to Wilmington in 2023 with her son and quickly embraced both the coastal lifestyle and the local dental community. She finds the greatest fulfillment in building meaningful relationships with patients and guiding them through their dental journeys. Outside the office, Emmy enjoys time with family and friends, stand-up paddleboarding, exploring local coffee shops and boutiques, and walking Wrightsville Beach. She takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for every patient.

Cat Barrier, Dental Assistant
Cat has been a dental assistant since 2021 and loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. She is certified in dental radiography, coronal polishing, nitrous oxide administration, and CPR, bringing both skill and compassion to the care she provides.
Originally from Florida, Cat moved to the Wilmington area in high school and graduated from Topsail High. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, gardening, and crocheting. She also loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and their three cats—Maui, Gus, and Bitsy.

Megan Wood, Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Megan and her family are lifelong Philadelphia sports fans. She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Dental Hygiene program in 2007. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Vreeland, they spent seven years in Colorado, where they had two children, Pierce and Hattie. Megan and Vreeland were actively involved in their church as youth group leaders.
Drawn to the warmer climate, Megan and her family relocated to the North Carolina coast in 2018. With 17 years of experience in dentistry—primarily as a dental hygienist, but also in office management and human resources—Megan is passionate about patient care and education. She finds great fulfillment in her role as an oral healthcare provider.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys watching her children’s sports, staying active outdoors, playing golf, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her Cavapoo, “Philly.”
